Case Study - Salvation Army
Under the counsel of FMC Australia, The Salvation Army, Western
Australia raised $3 million through a capital fundraising
campaign for a new dementia care hostel, named "Warrina", an
aboriginal word meaning place of rest. Through the
leadership of the Dementia and Family Care Appeal President,
Mr Bill Wyllie AM, the Salvation Army was able to raise $3
million dollars needed to fund the construction and
equipping of the new hostel. With the ever-increasing burden
on aged care, Warrina is a welcome addition to the services
and facilities The Salvation Army provides for the elderly.
